David is the IP Manger of the Company and has been engaged in legal works for a considerable period of time with substantial experience in IP industry over 20 years . With professional legal knowledge in IP as well as substantial working experience in IP area, David is good at assessment and analysis of registrability of the applied-for mark ; similarities between the prior registered marks and the applied-for marks; whether the applied-for mark falls foul of any other rules and regulations of the Trade Marks Ordinance and this could help applicants minimize the unnecessary risks at the time of the applications. Besides, David has legal expertise and substantial experience in drafting and preparing Written Submissions in response to the Office Action; pleadings relating to Opposition by third parties as well as applications for Invalidation and Revocation of registration of registered trademarks.
